Content Management Systems (CMS) are special programs installed on a website's server that allow users with a non-technical background to edit and maintain the website.

At North Development Studios We Use CMS in our Websites So that Our Customers Can Easily Maintain Their Own Websites

At NorthDS, we install a CMS in every website (that can support it) so customers are not dependent upon us for maintenance of their website! In fact, the majority of websites in our portfolio run off of a CMS. There are many different types of CMS--Joomla!, Drupal, e107, Mambo--but we choose to use one called website baker. We use Website Baker for a few reasons: 1) We have used it extensively. 2) We have found that it is the simplest and easiest CMS for our customers to use.

Suwanee Business Alliance

NorthDS was approached to reinvent the Suwanee Business Alliance. The result can be seen above.

The elegant design is accompanied by dynamic ads, a scrolling google calendar, and a member's only area containing a business directory incorporated into an interactive map of the Suwanee area.
