North Development Studios

northGroup

The northGroup is an internet business partnership between three North Gwinnett High School students: Brent O'Neill, Roberto Cerquiera, and Alan Barber. The group was formed in fall of 2007 when North Gwinnett High School's technology entrepeneurship class began (run by Michael Reilly of nghsit). Alan, Brent, and Roberto were asked to create a business plan as part of the course's curriculum. The three had several business ideas, and as a result decided to pair them together and create northGroup

The group has several functions:

website company (NorthDS)

online eBay store (North-ES) with Ian Jones

provide a supportive network for its member's private endeavours

develop other students' potentials and businesses (North Gwinnett Business Alliance)

Suwanee Business Alliance

NorthDS was approached to reinvent the Suwanee Business Alliance. The result can be seen above.

The elegant design is accompanied by dynamic ads, a scrolling google calendar, and a member's only area containing a business directory incorporated into an interactive map of the Suwanee area.
